Power Point Presentations
The MCVHP has developed these PowerPoints to assist designated Maine HeartSafe Communities in sharing important program information with your cities and towns. They may be used by Emergency Medical Services personnel, Community programs and organizations, healthcare providers and organizations, worksites, volunteers, etc., in locations that your program feels are appropriate for sharing and learning. The content of the presentations is based on current research, therefore we do not recommend changing the presentations, and ask that you check our website annually for updated versions of these resources. We do however, urge you to add your own program information, such as logos and contact information to the presentations, to establish great local linkages with community members around cardiovascular health.
There are notes included with each presentation to assist you in sharing this information. There are two versions of the Stroke and Heart Attack presentations. The "short" version is 15 minutes long and the "long" version is 25 minutes long. The presentations include:
